How
do I register?
Self registration is easy. Log on to ReorderContacts.com
and select "New Customer Registration." You will be asked to select
your doctor's state, city and practice name. On the next page you will
provide your patient information including shipping and billing
information with email. Below this you will enter your prescription
information. Next, you will review your order and then proceed to
checkout. It's that easy!
Your eyecare provider may have registered you at the time of your last
exam in which case you would have received an email informing you of
your user name and password. If you have lost or forgotten this
information, simply click on "Forgot Password?" and it will be mailed
to your email address on file.
What
if I cannot find my doctor in ReorderContacts.com?
If you cannot find your doctor, an email will be sent to our customer
care center and your doctor will be contacted on your behalf. You will
be notified by email that you are able to place your order.
My
family shares the same email address. Will we be able to individually
order our contact lenses?
Yes. Each user will be able to setup their own user name so that they
may share a common email address.
Your
Prescription Information
What
if I don't know what type of lens that I am wearing?
If your eyecare provider registered you in the ReorderContacts.com
service, your prescription information is already stored securely in
our system. Simply log on to ReorderContacts.com
and place your order. If you are registering yourself for ReorderContacts.com,
your eyecare provider would have provided you with your prescription at
your most recent exam. Simply use that to place your order. If you
don't have - or can't find - that prescription, simply enter the
prescription that is imprinted on your most recent box of contact
lenses, assuming that box was prescribed at your last exam. If all else
fails, call your eyecare provider to get your prescription. Once you've
placed the order, your eyecare provider will verify the prescription to
make sure that it matches the records from the most recent exam that he
or she provided.
My
last prescription expired. Can I order using ReorderContacts.com?
Contact lenses are considered medical devices, so you'll need a current
prescription to place an order. To renew your prescription, simply
contact your eyecare provider to arrange an exam.
What
if I would like more contacts than ReorderContacts.com allows me to order?
Your eyecare provider has most likely recommended a date for you to
return for your next exam. So when placing your contact lens order, you
should select the quantity necessary to reach that date; ordering more
may not be in your best interest since your prescription may change.
Once you've placed the order, your provider will verify the
prescription and also set a maximum quantity for you to order before
the next exam. You can continue placing orders up to that quantity
without needing the provider to re-verify the prescription.
Can I
order any lens online?
Your eye care provider has determined which lens brands are available
to order and this is reflected in your prescription. If you don't see
the brand that was prescribed for you, contact your provider as he or
she may have identified a new lens that will be better for you.
Billing
Whom
should I call for questions about shipping or billing?
ReorderContacts.com
is available to answer your questions Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm
Pacific Time, at 877-7LENSES (877-753-6737). Additionally, you may
submit your questions via email anytime at the "Customer Care" link
available at the bottom of the ReorderContacts.com
web pages. It is our goal to follow-up with you within one business
day.
I
have seen other companies offer rebate coupons, are these available
through ReorderContacts.com?
Yes. Lens manufacturers frequently offer rebate coupons when you place
an annual supply or other minimum order. These coupons will be enclosed
in the package with your order if applicable.
Will
my order be taxed?
For those patients whose eye care provider's office is in California,
tax is consolidated into the price of the contact lenses. Tax is not
applied to orders from eye care providers who are located in other
states.
Can I
apply my insurance coverage to my ReorderContacts.com purchases?
No, this service does not accept insurance benefits. If your benefits
cover an initial supply of contacts following your exam, you should
receive your initial supply from your doctor and use all of your
benefits at that time. Then, when it's time to reorder, go to
ReorderContacts.com and pay for your purchase out-of-pocket.
Can
funds from a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account
(HSA) be applied to my purchases at ReorderContacts.com?
Since contact lenses are considered a medical device, FSA or HSA
administrators should reimburse your purchases at ReorderContacts.com.
To receive a reimbursement, you typically submit the invoice from your
ReorderContacts.com shipment to the account administrator. Of course,
we cannot guarantee the policy of every administrator, so you should
check with your specific administrator if you have any questions. Tip:
It's always a good idea to reorder before the end of your account's
plan year so that you can use any remaining funds and avoid forfeiting
them.
Shipping
How
long does it usually take to get my lenses?
Our distributor stocks 90% of all contact lenses. For prescriptions and
quantities that have already been verified by your eyecare provider,
most ship by the next business day. If your eyecare provider has not
yet verified the prescription on ReorderContacts.com,
then we must first obtain the approval before shipping the lenses. Most
orders can be verified within one business day. You can always check
the status of your order by logging onto ReorderContacts.com.
From
where are my lenses shipped?
They are shipped directly from our contact lens distributor to your
door. The actual departure destination is based on your eye care
provider's location and lens availability at the distributor's
locations.
How
much is shipping?
Each order is shipped at the following rates:
UPS Ground - $ 6.95
UPS Second Day - $ 8.50
UPS Overnight - $18.50
Discount shipping prices are offered for orders which meet a
requirement minimum.
Security
Is my
personal information and credit card transaction secure?
ReorderContacts.com
uses secure transaction and encryption technology. Security is
activated when you log in to the web site, and no one can access your
personal information that is transmitted over the web. Additionally,
all names and personal information in our database are encrypted and
unreadable without the proper security clearance. The integrity of your
personal and financial information is of the utmost importance to us.
Will
I receive junk email?
ReorderContacts.com
will never sell or trade private patient information, such as your
email or postal address, for any reason. We will only share the
necessary information to complete your contact lens order with our
distributor and your eye care provider. In addition, ReorderContacts.com
will only contact you regarding your use of ReorderContacts.com
or as directed by your eye care provider.
Returns and
Cancellations
What
if my lenses need to be returned or exchanged?
You may return any lens as long as you have not opened the contact lens
box. Unfortunately, once your contact lens boxes have been opened, we
are unable to accept a return or exchange. You can find the return
address on the invoice that arrived in your shipment - or call Customer
Care at 877-7LENSES (877-753-6737).
If my
order is cancelled, how long are my credit/debit card funds held?
In the unlikely event that your order must be cancelled, the amount of
time that your funds are held varies depending on your financial
institution. It is typically between five and nine days. Please contact
your financial institution for more information. If you need
confirmation on when your card was credited feel free to contact
Customer Care at 1-877-7LENSES.
